We are honoured that President Mary and Martin McAleese will launch
“National Marriage Week” this year on Wed 10th Feb.2010. The President
will address some of the 7 topics below. 3 couples will give a brief
testimony as to how they value their own marriage and invest in it.
Marriage is one of our top 6 major Life decisions and we often take it
so casually and put so little time and effort into developing and
strengthening our Marriage. Our different organisations work voluntarily
and professionally to help build stronger Marriages in Ireland. In
promoting the 2010 Marriage week, we not only want to acknowledge that
Marriage is great and promote it in a general sense, but also how can we
strengthen it and improve how we relate to each other in our own
Marriage.
We have chosen a subject for each day of NMW 2010 as follows:
- Monday: Building Strong Foundations
- Tuesday: The Art of Communication
- Wednesday: Resolving Conflict
- Thursday: The Power of Forgiveness
- Friday: The impact of Family – Past and Present
- Saturday: Good Sex
- Sunday: Love in Action
We are blessed to have a President with a
strong Marriage and would be priviledged if you could join us on
